I’m currently employed with Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center as a Training and Implementation Manager. In my previous role I have served as Project Manager. In both roles I support the Blood Centers’ goals and initiatives by supporting software that helps to manage donors and our blood supply. I serve on several committees here at the Blood Center, to name a few, Fit4Life Committee, Diversity and Employee of Choice sub-committee. I’m an active member of each. I also have been committed to ASTD to help establish active recruitment of new members and maintaining current membership. Member services is a vital role in the staying power of any organization. The organization will not be successful unless we have members that help support and fund our goals for the chapter. There is always the opportunity for growth and the ability to share and educate members on what ASTD has to offer not only to its members but to the community.
