Tuesday, April 22, 2008:
“Servant Entrepreneurship™ ”
The path to career success through strategy and service
Did you decide on your current career because……
Your school career counselor suggested it?
It was an easy way to make money?
You were dissatisfied with your current job and it seemed like a good escape?
It is unlikely any of these were true motivators.
True motivators would be something more like…
“I want to help people have great lives.”
“I want to serve people or animals or the environment.”
The truth is most people are looking for a meaningful way to contribute to others or to the world. But how can you serve others and be in transition at the same time? Mattison Grey has learned in over 10 years of coaching entrepreneurs and professionals (and being one) that Servant Entrepreneurship™ is the way. The basic premise of Servant Entrepreneurship™ is serve first, leverage second, with a healthy dose of strategy mixed in. Mattison will discuss the philosophy, mechanics and strategy of Servant Entrepreneurship™ in relationship to transition and give concrete ideas and examples of how she and her clients have used the philosophies to grow their businesses or careers.
