TOPIC: Training, Organizational Development and Human Resources at a Crossroads
As Training, Organizational Development and Human Resource professionals we are at a crossroads in our role and function within the organization. This is an important time of opportunity, a time to seize the day. Many of us are involved in key initiatives in our organizations that have a significant impact on the performance and continuity of the business. And still there are many of us that are struggling to find a way to bring our voice into discussions at a time when Talent Management initiatives will make or break the company.
Kathi Crawford, SPHR, and Principal for Talent Strategies and Solutions, will facilitate a discussion to:
· Define what Talent Management is and is not
· Provide an overview of the Talent War we are facing today and why it’s important to
focus on Talent Management
· Share Talent Management best practices
· Identify ways you can address the challenges of a shrinking and evolving talent pool and
improve overall engagement and performance of your employees
Through this discussion you will be able to assess your organization’s readiness to address this challenge and identify ways to raise awareness with your senior leadership team.
