This presentation explores the use of images with training materials; both ILT and online.

A training presentation will be more engaging and potentially more effective if both sides of the brain are addressed or stimulated by the material. Failure to do this risks one or both sides of the brain �checking out� and focusing on other things.

Speaker Galynn Ferris

Galynn Ferris has been involved with training since 1987 when he began training Continental Airlines Boeing 727 pilots in the operation of aircraft systems. Mr. Ferris began working with online training in 2003 by creating a course in the HIPPA privacy rule. He has also created online training courses on blood borne pathogens, mentoring, preventing workplace violence, sexual harassment, and drug deterrence.

He is currently employed as training coordinator for the Houston Airport System. Galynn has been a member of ASTD since 2000 and has served as one of the coordinators for Esig and the Lunch Bunch.
