Marketing is an essential function whether you are an organization selling products and services, an internal agent selling a new idea or program to employees, or an individual in transition selling your knowledge, skills and abilities to potential employers. And, one of the most critical components of marketing is networking. Networking allows us to create powerful connections while spreading the word of what we do or need. While everyone can easily come up with numerous objections to getting out and networking, most of these simply mask the truth that:
“I don't know how to network effectively”
“It feels uncomfortable or forced to interact with strangers”
“It takes a lot of time and effort and I need results now”
This session is designed to build the business case for networking and to teach professionals how to avoid the traps of traditional networking and instead become a “Power Networker.” Specifically, we will discuss:
How Does A Network Translate into Results?
How Do I find My Network?
How Do I maintain My Network?
How Do I Get People to Find Me?
