Job Description

Obsidian, an innovative e-learning consultancy, is looking for entry level candidates to join our creative instructional design studio.

The ideal candidate possesses excellent skills in verbal and written communications, the ability to analyze and organize complex information into a clear and coherent flow for online presentation, and the ability to come up to speed quickly on new, technical concepts.

Technical aptitude and/or familiarity with sciences or technologies relevant to the oil and gas industry (e.g., geology, chemistry, mechanics, etc.) are a plus.

Responsibilities:

Analyze content provided by the client, develop learning objectives, write test questions, and implement instructional strategies.
Assist in conducting needs and task analysis and evaluations
Design and develop Computer/Web Based Training and simulation storyboards
Work effectively with Subject Matter Experts to validate content
Work efficiently in accordance with pre-existing standards and guidelines
Design and develop supplemental course materials, such as student workbooks, instructor guides, and test questions

Required Experience:

Technical aptitude and/or familiarity with sciences or technologies relevant to the oil and gas industry (e.g., geology, chemistry, mechanics, etc.) are a plus.
