Session Break-out Facilitator Request for Proposal

Event Description:

The Just Add Water event is designed to showcase 6 presenters; each presenting for 20 minutes to an audience of 5-6 participants. Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the Cameron Building, 4800 Calhoun, Houston, TX 77204 - 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

Session Objective:

The Just Add Water session will provide quick and concise learning environment for professionals to define themselves and support their industries. Special emphasis will be placed on the critical components of technology, change management, Instructional Design, talent management/succession planning, and any topics relevant for an ASTD audience.

Presentation Specifics

Presentations should last for 20 minutes. Bring your own handouts and job aids to distribute during the session. Presentations will be limited to basic visual aids that can be distributed and reviewed in a round table setting. Engagement and audience interaction is key. Real world experience in the area you present is a must. Challenges and ways to overcome them should also be included. Presentations should use an appropriate mix of adult learning and motivation techniques: lecture, group activity, Q&A etc.
