A 10-week online program with "live" online weekly meetings that culminate on a weekend intensive.

Program Description

The ASTD Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP®) Campus Program prepares professionals to take ASTD's CPLP Certification Examination. The CPLP® course addresses the nine areas of expertise for the learning and performance improvement professional as defined by the ASTD Competency Model: designing learning, delivering training, improving human performance, measuring and evaluating learning, facilitating organizational change, managing the learning function, coaching, managing organizational knowledge, and career planning and talent management.

Aug. 30 - Nov 7
Online facilitation, includes readings, online asynchronous dicussions, online "live" meetings, practice games and practice tests.
Nov. 12 - 14
Intensive Weekend Residency (Houston)

Access to the ASTD learning system and practice exams
Synchronous online weekly meetings with facilitators to discuss learning system's assigned readings
Interactive online material and practice tests to prepare for the ASTD Certification examination

This course is scheduled to meet the following ASTD 2010 CPLP® testing schedule

Testing registration deadline: November 5, 2010

Knowledge exam testing: November 13 - December 11, 2010
