Great News! The Crown Plaza on the Northwest Freeway (290 & Pinemont) has been selected for the September 22, 2009 Houston Chapter Conference and Exposition. Many thanks to Holly Turk who spent many hours finding this excellent location.

Into the Real World - Tools for Traversing Through Turbulent Times is the theme

The objective of the conference is to provide members, guests, speakers and vendors with a strategic and concentrated opportunity to learn how to be more effective in their respective roles. What does it take in today’s real world to professionally develop and work through these turbulent times? .

Pre-Conference Workshop

New this year is a Pre-Conference Workshop Thursday, September 17th at The United Way Building. The workshop focuses on creating resumes, interviewing skills and ends with a business dress fashion show. If you register for the conference you get into the workshop FREE! For others there is a nominal fee.

Networking Opportunities

It takes many volunteers to make the conference and exposition a success. Attend the Volunteer Summit Fast Forward April 3 to get an idea of what's available. (See the Chapter Events Calendar for more information.)
