Board of Directors Role Descriptions Note: All elected officers other than the president-elect are invited to gain apprenticeship experience in their new roles by participating in board meetings during the 4thquarter of each calendar year. The president-elect plays an active role during the year prior to assuming the role of President, effective as of the election date (not the calendar year). All positions below are responsible for submitting reports/information to the Board and attending meetings, including the membership meetings. If you are a student of Human Performance Improvement, you could be eligible to receive a scholarship from the ASTD Houston Chapter.

In 2008, ASTD Houston will award up to $2000 in scholarships to applicants who meet Scholarship Program requirements. Application deadline is 4:00pm, Friday, October 31, 2008.
