State of the Chapter 2009

Early in the year we engaged a new administrative service to accommodate our planned growth into the future. Following Vicky Aranda's (our former administrator) retirement, we hired AMC (Association Management Consultants). This company designates two administrators, Lori Wilkins and Logan Wright, to help our chapter with member support and administrative tasks and enables our board to concentrate on strategic activities. We set a strategy that embraces our community and its needs. After launching Lunch Bunches two years ago, these groups have grown and developed into their own unique communities. Going forward, we will call these Lunch Bunch groups - Community Training Networks and work toward further developing these communities to meet their unique needs. We implemented a very successful conference in September. Spearheaded by Sarah Hurst, Holly Turk and their team of volunteers. The conference was a great learning experience and networking opportunity for the Training and...
